Venusian Rosary (For Sale)
This unique set of fine-quality devotional beads was created and consecrated in the name of the goddess Venus. All construction for this Rosary took place during the Planetary Hours of Venus, and it was completed and consecrated on the day and in the hour of Venus. I am selling this piece for $95 + shipping.
It was created using alternating beads of Rose Quartz (for its associations with beauty and love) and handmade beads of oiled Myrtle Wood (Myrtle being a tree of historical and ritual significance to Venus). These are interspersed with counter-beads of raw Morganite (for its preciousness and loveliness), each of which are bracketed with small beads of Mother of Pearl (for Her mythical connections to the sea, and her cultural associations with the clam shell.) The centerpiece is a Rose Charm crafted solid Pewter (with the Rose being one of Her ancient symbols) and the drop-bead is a Pewter Clamshell (for the reasons previously mentioned in reference ro Mother of Pearl). The focal pendant is a vintage resin Medallion carved to depict a Swan motif on both sides (since the Swan was long regarded as one of Her most sacred beasts.) This medallion was, in turn, set with small beads of black crystal at its top and base. Finally, on a Friday, the piece was fumigated in the hour of Venus with an incense of Rose an consecrated to the goddess of Passion and beauty Herself.
This piece measures approximately 24 inches/61 centimeters long, and all connecting rings and pins are made from silver-plated steel. If you are interested in acquiring it, feel free to message me on tumblr, or buy it directly through my webshop, Wending Wares Occult Parlor.
